Shipping

We strive to get your plants to you on time.

Shipping live products can have its challenges. Occasionally, Mother Nature does not cooperate! In these rare instances, we will delay shipping if severe weather hits. Most all orders are shipped via USPS, and please ensure the address provided is an acceptable USPS address.

Most of our plants can be safely planted year-round, but some gardeners like to plan in warmer weather. If you would like to delay or customize your delivery date, please leave us a note in the comment section upon checkout. We're happy to work within your timeframe if at all possible.

My Box Arrived Damaged!

We guarantee that your plants are packed and shipped carefully to ensure survival through transit. For this reason, packages are rarely damaged or hurt in transit. But if you've received a damaged box, please refuse the package! The postal service will return the damaged package to us, and we can get it reshipped for you.

Remember: Do not try to plant a low-quality or damaged plant, even if you suspect it may bounce back! Call or email us if your plant arrives damaged. Unless Damage package claims are made in a timely manner, we will not be able to assist you.

Returns

We do not accept returns. All sales are final, and no refunds and no exceptions. If you have an issue with your plants, please notify us within three days.

Do your homework

It's essential to do your homework! Plant information and recommendations can be tricky in the horticultural world. Our expert zone map and specific product details are as accurate as we can get them, but keep in mind your specific climate, soil, and attention to the plants play a significant role in their success or failure.

If you have any questions about your hardiness or the plants that grow best in your area, contact your local Agricultural Extension Office. They will know much more about your exact climate and soil conditions than we do.

Note:

Most perennial plants and ferns enter dormancy or semi-dormancy in the fall through early spring. These plants are entirely healthy but will not always have leaves, bright colors and can have complete leaf drops.

This is perfectly normal and a necessity for the plant's health. And it makes the transplanting process more manageable as well!

Planting during dormancy thrives root growth, giving your plants a jump start for spring when new foliage will begin to thrive. We purposely keep our plants in cold storage to keep them dormant longer. Therefore, your plants will remain dormant while your local plants are leafing out. Your plants need a little time, and you will soon see new thriving foliage!
